Description

Reproduction of Claude Monet's lily pond in pink, lavender and green, where floating pads and pale pink blossoms meet reflected sky. Soft, hazy and atmospheric.

Rows of rounded lily pads in green and olive stretch across the upper part of the picture, dotted with small clusters of pink and white blossoms. Below them the water dissolves into a hazy field of pink, lavender and pale gold, and near the bottom cooler blues and greens return, with a bright pink cluster of blooms in the lower left corner. Pink, lavender and gold blend so smoothly that reflected sky seems to merge with the pond, and cool blues and greens at the base add depth. With no hard edges, the surface reads as light and reflection rather than solid form. The mood is soft, dreamy and atmospheric. The original is a painting; this is a reproduction of it.

Claude Monet (1840–1926) was a French painter and a founder of Impressionism.

FAQ

Is this an original artwork?
No. This is a modern fine art reproduction printed on 200 gsm matte fine art paper, not an original or hand-painted work.

What size should I choose?
30x40 cm suits a shelf, a desk or a gallery wall of several small pieces. 50x70 cm is the usual choice for a single print above a bed, a sofa or a console table. 60x90 cm works as a standalone focal point on a large empty wall.

Does the print come framed?
Only if you choose a frame or canvas in the options, where they ship to your country; both arrive ready to hang. An unframed print ships without a frame, and every size matches a standard frame format, so it fits off-the-shelf frames.

How is my order printed?
Each print is made to order at the partner facility closest to you, which keeps delivery times short and shipping distances low. The product page shows where your print is made: locally in your country, or in the closest country with a partner facility.

Can I return it?
Yes. You can return a print within 14 days of delivery. A damaged or defective print is replaced free of charge if you tell us within 30 days of receiving it. Returns go to our address in Poland, and the return shipping is at your cost; a damaged or defective print does not need to be sent back.
