Description

Reproduction of Alfred Zoff's foaming waves breaking on weathered rocks beside a small beached rowing boat. A pale, hazy sky gives it a diffuse, overcast mood.

Large boulders and cliffs fill the right side of the scene, streaked with moss and shadow, while pale foaming waves roll in from the left and break in white curls against the rocks. A small dark rowing boat is pulled up on the narrow pebble beach at the centre, with a tiny figure and what appears to be a modest stone shelter beneath the cliff. The sky is a flat, hazy white, so the light is soft and diffuse rather than bright Mediterranean sun, and the warm neutral palette of tan, ochre and grey is contrasted only by the white surf. The mood is rugged, windswept and quietly atmospheric. The original is a painting; this is a reproduction of it.

Alfred Zoff shows a rocky Mediterranean shoreline in muted, naturalistic tones, with attention to the weight of rock and the movement of surf.

FAQ

Is this an original artwork?
No. This is a modern fine art reproduction printed on 200 gsm matte fine art paper, not an original or hand-painted work.

What size should I choose?
30x40 cm suits a shelf, a desk or a gallery wall of several small pieces. 50x70 cm is the usual choice for a single print above a bed, a sofa or a console table. 60x90 cm works as a standalone focal point on a large empty wall.

Does the print come framed?
Only if you choose a frame or canvas in the options, where they ship to your country; both arrive ready to hang. An unframed print ships without a frame, and every size matches a standard frame format, so it fits off-the-shelf frames.

How is my order printed?
Each print is made to order at the partner facility closest to you, which keeps delivery times short and shipping distances low. The product page shows where your print is made: locally in your country, or in the closest country with a partner facility.

Can I return it?
Yes. You can return a print within 14 days of delivery. A damaged or defective print is replaced free of charge if you tell us within 30 days of receiving it. Returns go to our address in Poland, and the return shipping is at your cost; a damaged or defective print does not need to be sent back.
